The global pandemic has accelerated many technology trends, but it has also revealed deeper human needs that have been overlooked and underserved. People crave real human connection after extended isolation. They seek meaning, purpose, and fulfillment in their work and lives. Additionally, they desire balance, well-being, personal growth, and creative expression amid constant digital stimulation.

Backstory

Before joining Jump, I built a diverse background in both the corporate and startup worlds. I worked at In-Q-Tel, a venture fund representing the national intelligence community, and at LinkedIn, where I specialized in the Sales Navigator platform (I might have answers if you have questions).

Although my initial foray into entrepreneurship during school was unsuccessful, it ignited my interest in the startup ecosystem, particularly the pivotal role funding plays in supporting entrepreneurial endeavors.

While pursuing my business degree, I secured an internship with Unshackled Ventures, a pre-seed fund dedicated to aiding immigrant entrepreneurs—a cause that deeply resonated with me as the son of immigrants. Now on the Jump investment team, I am enthusiastic about leveraging my extensive experience in product and operations to scale companies addressing global challenges. From my early setbacks as a founder to my current dedication to fostering startup success, I am eager to contribute to building mission-driven companies and supporting founders from all backgrounds on their journey to make an outsized impact.
