Talk To Me About

My professional experiences have mostly orbited around finance and fintech, so it is no surprise that I focus my energies on two broad but important themes of Fintech and Enterprise SaaS.

We sit on the edge of another generational cycle of innovation fueled by a wave of powerful new Ai.  While still in early adoption, every industry will be transformed by its potential. Companies are scrambling to comprehend the impact, define how to deploy it while understanding the new threats that accompany it. This is a very exciting time to be a venture investor on the forefront of this change.

I am particularly interested on how these forces are shaping:

  • The traditional role of the CFO.
  • Wealth tech and senior fintech.
  • The evolution around skills-based organizations.
  • Workflow automation outside the walls of the enterprise.

Backstory

For me, it all started with the influence of my grandparents who were a constant model of entrepreneurial spirit and hustle. Immigrants who seized on the American opportunity by founding successful restaurants and clubs in the Pittsburgh area. Their example, along with being raised by my mother, engrained a deep appreciation for independence, work ethic, accountability and what it takes to succeed.

My career spans diverse industries and verticals witnessing both explosive growth and the impacts of “creative destruction” from my roots as a securities broker to participating in the meteoric rise of GE Capital scaling a portfolio of lending, leasing, credit, and investing businesses. Managing both large and small organizations as well as building a successful advisory practice has greatly informed my role as a venture investor and company advocate.

It is on these same core values that we built Jump Capital, and it is the essential DNA we look for in the founders we back.  In the highly competitive venture space where competition for capital is fierce and true differentiation is tough to claim, our “special sauce” is our engagement model. Hard to put into words but it is the intangibles of attitude, accessibility, and action that combine to define us and the relationships we have with our founders.

It is our hope that we get a chance to prove that value to you.
