I’m deeply inspired by the remarkable strides we’ve seen in computing infrastructure over the last decade. My passion lies in partnering with visionary founders who use these technological leaps to reimagine and transform the current landscape.

I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with trailblazers like Rescale, which is revolutionizing High-Performance Computing in the cloud; Foretellix, a pioneer in autonomous safety; Siemplify, leading the charge in Security Workflow Automation; and Certora, setting the standard in Smart Contract Security. Right now, I’m particularly intrigued by founders building the backbone infrastructure to enable the widespread adoption and integration of Enterprise AI.

In my experience, the most successful founders share a potent mix of in-depth knowledge, keen self-awareness, and relentless drive. These attributes not only stand on their own but also indicate a broader range of skills, including sharp commercial insight, solid product/market understanding, and effective leadership capabilities.

Backstory

I’m a technology nerd through and through, and I can easily lose track of time reading about, tinkering with, and marveling at the incredible advances humans have made through technology. I believe the last decade has been a golden era in this field, and I feel incredibly fortunate to have witnessed and invested in this sector.

My journey began as a researcher at one of Europe’s premier research institutes, where I was exposed early on to cutting-edge research in distributed systems and cryptography. Since then, I’ve eagerly applied my technical skills in various professional settings, from compiler optimization at INRIA and algorithmic trading at Lehman Brothers to building real-time recommendation and marketing engines at Groupon.

Venture investing has become the culmination of these varied experiences, allowing me to empathize with builders and assess opportunities from an operator’s perspective. I can’t think of a better career than one that lets me work with ambitious founders tackling some of the hardest problems out there.
